2nd Anniversary of my CABG

How time flies and it is my 2nd Anniversary since I had my heart by pass. Just thought of writing a few words in my blog as I know there are some of you who read my blog and recently I got a query from someone with regards to the by pass surgery. I said don't worry as everything will be fine. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Good Lord for his blessings and in giving me a second chance in life....THANK YOU

My morning walk at Danga Bay, J.B

Image
This morning I did my walk at a new surrounding i.e. about 350 km from Kuala Lumpur (I just love the sight and smell of the sea). I was in  Danga Bay , Johor Bahru at my job site since Sunday night and back to KL this evening (Wednesday). The place is at the Southern tip of Malaysia, facing Singapore. I enjoyed my morning walk there and since I had my phone (HTC Desire) with me while walking, I took some pictures to share with you. I love the boats or yacht parked at Danga Bay. I bet it is a nice place to chill out in the evening overlooking the Bay with a nice drink and they have a seafood restaurant too, maybe I should check it out....

STOP SLEEPING TOO MUCH (PLEASE)

Robin Sharma I know I'm unpopular on this point. But I owe you my truth: most people sleep more than they need to. They fall into the trap of spending some of the best hours of their lives on a mattress. They squander their potentially breathtaking gifts under the covers. They lose The Battle of The Bed. They trade their greatness for a snooze button. Here's an insight I invite you to consider: sleep begets sleep. The more sleep you take, the more you need. Ever noticed that as you sleep more, you feel sleepier? Strange isn't it. But it's true. Yes, I get that sleep is essential to keep us bright and renewed and healthy. My fear is too much sleep. The kind that keeps great people small. The kind that minimizes high-potential lives. The kind that sucks the living out of human beings destined to shine (and you know who you are). Happens to a lot of us. Because we fall in love with a pillow. Too much to do and too many great places to explore and too many Big Hairy ...

FUNNY ENGLISH NOTICES AROUND THE WORLD!

Here are some signs and notices written in English that were discovered throughout the world. You have to give the writers an 'E' for Effort. We hope you enjoy them. In a Tokyo Hotel: Is forbidden to steal hotel towels please. If you are not a person to do such thing is please not to read notis. In a Bucharest hotel lobby: The lift is being fixed for the next day. During that time we regret that you will be unbearable. In a Leipzig elevator: Do not enter the lift backwards, and only when lit up. In a Belgrade hotel elevator: To move the cabin, push button for wishing floor. If the cabin should enter more persons, each one should press a number of wishing floor. Driving is then going alphabetically by national order. In a Paris hotel elevator: Please leave your values at the front desk. In a hotel in Athens: Visitors are expected to...

My morning walk

Image
After my by-pass heart surgery about 2 years ago, my early morning ritual includes the daily 1 hour walk as per the surgeons advice. I have been walking alone in the morning and I get up at 5.15 am during working days and a bit later during public holidays and weekends , the walk lasts about an hour from 5.30 am to 6.30 am. Since we have a long week due to the holidays (27.08.11 to 04.09.11), I took some pictures to share with you on my route which looks pretty green and hilly. The pictures were taken just after sunrise and hence it is dark but what I love during my walk is the fresh air, the surrounding forest and solitude. Do let me know about your morning walks or you still haven't started walking yet? My word of advice is " It's better late then never" to start. View from the top of the Hill Walk down from the Hill Retention pond where you can hear the sound of gushing water Air Hitam  Forest Reserve, lush and green.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Image
Wishing all Muslims, in Malaysia and beyond, Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. May we all continue to live in harmony. Let us build bridges that connect and not walls that divide. Have a great day! Taken from the Internet Another year has passed and I still remember my childhood when my neighbours would send us ketupat, kuih, chicken rendang, malay biscuits and a lot of stuff early in the morning and I would have all this stuff for breakfast. But things have changed now, we live in the city where we don't even know who our neighbours are. And the city is empty during the festival season as everyone travels to their hometown or is it that I am staying in an affluent neighbourhood where everyone is busy with their work and too busy making money. Tell me how was your childhood memories of festivals were?

My New Home at Bandar Puteri Klang

These are snap shots taken at my new home which is still under construction. The keys would be handed over to us by next year May 2012. After that I will do some renovation on the house and that would take about maybe 2 months and then only would I be able to move in. Got a lot of things planned and this time around I am going to supervise the work.... Front View - wide enough to park 2 cars View from our front porch Backyard and MacD is just behind View from the Hall Bathroom at Master Bedroom So what do you think?

It's been awhile...

Yes it has indeed been awhile since I had last posted anything here. My New Year's resolution is still intact. Not drinking enough water, had to visit the Doctor yesterday due to my prevailing kidney stones I guess as I had a lit bit of blood in the piss. I have reduced on my snacking and I just started on my blog much to my surprise. Out of the blues while I was chatting with my college buddy, I got my close friends phone Elvis, and we had a change to chat for awhile. He is in South Africa and it was a nice feeling talking to someone after a long while. Let me see, what else is there in the resolution, gee I can't remember....before I forget...I am back with Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd...
