My New Year Shopping



The photos were taken at Mid-Valley Shopping Mall and I was there to get an Ipod Classic for my son as a New Year gift but there wasn't any stock at the Apple reseller and I didn't want to get it anywhere else and I guess I have to wait until after the first week of January 2009 for the stock to arrive.

The shopping mall was spruced up for Christmas and New Year as you can see by the pictures and the Christmas trees were lovely and the whole shopping mall had a Christmas atmosphere.

We had our lunch at the food court and after that I had to get a shorts for my son at Jusco and boy the cashier really pissed me off. Just because it's a holiday, don't tell me that the hypermarket wants to cut cost by running on a skeleton crew and we had to wait at least maybe 20 minutes to pay for it.

Happy new year! seems that you had a great time shopping at this swanky mall. In Mumbai malls are too crowded during this season for shopping to be a comfortable experience.

I'm glad to know that the malls in Mumbai are packing them in after the ghastly incident recently.

I went early to the mall otherwise I would have problem with parking and there are thousands of parking bays but if you are late, then it could be a bad experience,

Writer's block

Seems like I am stuck on what to write and where is my tea to perk me up? I am sitting in my cabin at my office and wondering what I should write. So far nothing interesting happened to me as it has been work, work and work. I was appointed as a Director for one of our subsidiary as a corporate nominee from my company. But the catch is, I am appointed as a Director with all the liabilities minus the extra cash. Am I being foolish? I leave that as it is and now I have to unblock my writer's block. Come on ideas, flow. Looks like it is dried up and maybe I should meditate and something might creep in while I am in bliss meditating. But then again, meditating in my cabin is not a good idea as it would construe that I am sleeping on my job or they might think that I have turned into a zombie.
