There goes my early exit

Thought I was leaving by 04.07.2008 from Hyderabad but I guess that has to change now. Now I have to be in Hyderabad to conduct some interview on the potential candidates for our overseas project and also interviews of some potential lawyers as my company boss is making his trip here.

So looks like I am going to spend maybe another extra week here and that really upset my other plans. I am going to be in Hyderabad right smack in the monsoon rains because so far it has not arrived yet. Monsoon in Hyderabad means many things but the most significant one is that there would be frequent power cuts, pre-emptive cuts so that the electrical cables do not get short circuits because of the way the electrical wires are hanging on the poles, you would get scared if it happens to touch you (the dangling cables).

I hope my buddy, the rat snake don't get flushed out by the rains as their homes will be flooded and they would look for food in my kitchen, like the 6 footer did last time. I hope the cable TV doesn't get distrupted due to bad weather.

Now what am I writing, deviating from my original topic, yes my exit is delayed. So I guess this would give me some more time for me to finish my new book which I bought yesterday, titled Brida by Paulo Coelho.

Now thanks to Jean, since I am tagged, I have to go through the formality of posting a blog on that, still haven't started working on that.

the thought of the rat snake is scary! I just hope you are not in Hyd for the worst part of the monsoon. I remember an instance when my roommate and I went to our terrace to get drenched in rains. I love rains, except for days I'm planning to take a flight :)

Hi Shree,

Yes you are right I hate snakes too. I was counting my days but now it looks like I have change my count...but can't figure out when my last day here would be. But I know it can't be later then 15th July 2008 and I want to be back for my son's birthday on 14th July 2008.

When it rains here I guess it rains non-stop........

It does really feel bad when we have to give up personal committments for work! I'm sure you can compensate a little, if not fully for this situation, like buying him a really nice gift or something :)

I would be missing my first son's birthday too which falls on 29th June 2008 and it's his special year...he turns 18 this birthday....and in September 2008 he would be leaving for Moscow for his medical studies.....yes I miss he growing up...and by the time I am at home he would have left home for the next 6 yrs...to pursue his studies....and as for my second son, ever since he was in Standard one, I was always working away from home..... sometimes I feel life is empty and meaningless.......if only they could understand that their papa is doing it for their well being.......

btw I had already bought him his gifts when I was in Malaysia 3 weeks back......but he wants me around....
